The Women Warriors historical event, curated by music director - conductor Maestra Amy Andersson, featured 9 new pieces composed for short films, and performed live to pictures.

Excerpt from "Say Their Names"- This track honors the founders of BLM, depicts outrage over police brutality and the “Say Their Names” movement, which protests the killing of women and girls of color.

Excerpt from: Hurriyah" (which means Freedom in Arabic) conveys the yearning of women in the middle east to be free to choose if to wear a headscarf (hijab), and their longing to feel the wind in their hair.
